Miami, FL (Sports Network) - The Florida Marlins recalled pitcher Brad Hand from Double-A Jacksonville to start Friday's series opener against the Philadelphia Phillies. Hand has compiled a 1-4 record with a 4.08 earned run average in eight outings for the Marlins this season. He last pitched in the majors on August 8 versus the Atlanta Braves.
